I’m sharing a flight attendant tip that could help keep you safe in a hotel. Many people don’t know that the number one responsibility of a flight attendant is safety, and it is equally as important to be safe in a hotel as it is on a private jet. Thanks for watching and make sure you’re subscribed so you catch all of my private flight attendant vlogs!
Happy Saturday! I posted 4 YouTube shorts this week, giving you a sneak peek into my layover in Reykjavik Iceland. You can watch them all below. My full Iceland vlog will be out tomorrow!
Reykjavik Iceland Hotel Tour * FLIGHT ATTENDANT LIFE
Hi! My flight attendant layover started with the passengers taking the crew bags from the private jet (disclaimer- it wasn’t their fault, the FBO loaded the pilot bags and my bags with their transportation.) I was mostly stuck in my room in Santiago Chile, one of my favorite cities. My hotel was amazing but it was a tease being there, not being able to enjoy any restaurants or sights. Thanks for watching and enjoy the rest of your weekend. I’ll check in next week with a new Private Jet Flight Attendant vlog!

Hello Hello! IÂ hope you all had a Happy 4th and IÂ hope you had a great weekend. I have shared my Hotel Room, No Equipment Workout here, and IÂ wanted to check in with my health journey.
At the start of lockdown IÂ was loving every minute of binge watching T.V. (big housewives fan here!) IÂ was also binge snacking. IÂ was grateful to be at home and forced to relax but it started to take a toll on me after about 2 weeks.
IÂ decided IÂ was going to get serious about my workout routine and make changes to my diet. IÂ have always used exercise to improve my mental health and IÂ swear it does wonders! My diet had generally been pretty good but IÂ realized IÂ needed to incorporate more fruits and veggies. (easy way to do that here)Â
IÂ took my measurements for the first time in June, started a workout regime with my sister and started using a food tracking app. IÂ want to share this because 1. it helps hold me accountable and 2. IÂ love the interaction IÂ have with you all and IÂ learn so much.
Below is a summary of my workout history in June. I mentioned earlier that IÂ took measurements (my thighs, arms, waist and hips) and I plan on doing that again at the end of this month. I’ll share the results with you on my blog!
What changes did you make to your quarantine lifestyle?
Last week I had a Milwaukee overnight. As usual when we got to the hotel we split off to do the security check to make sure our rooms were unoccupied and safe for us to get some rest in. I was sharing a story with my fellow stew about the importance of always doing the security checks, but especially in this hotel because one of our colleagues discovered a crew members bags in her assigned room once. Turns out the front desk issued an already taken room. Luckily this person was not in the room and she was given a completely empty one. My story was quickly trumped when stew #2 told me the last time she stayed in Milwaukee she didn’t do a security check. She unlocked the door, pushed it open and saw the TV was on and someone was laying in bed. She called down stairs and told the front desk about her situation and they assured her the man staying in that room earlier had checked out. She demanded security (smart girl!) and they met her at the room. It was confirmed that the TV was on and the man certainly did check out- his DEAD body was in the bed! The cops were immediately called and security walked her to the front desk to get her a new room. She said by the time she was down stairs there were a ton of cop cars and an ambulance. I can’t imagine walking into a room and finding a dead guy,  but I was up almost all night thinking about what room he may have died in and how I hope it wasn’t the bed I was laying in. Lesson to be learned- check under the bed AND under the covers to make sure no one is hiding out in your layover room!
